As young single adults we seek to find and establish our place in the Kingdom of God here upon the Earth. We desire to separate ourselves from the world, so that we may follow the perfect path of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We look to provide refuge for other young singles who desire to find peace and direction in this oft troubled world. We want to prepare ourselves so that we may marry in the Lord’s Temple and one day rear a righteous family in the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We know that success in these endeavors “…is established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and wholesome activities.”(The Family: A Proclamation to the World,” Ensign, Nov. 1995, 102). We are not interested in what we are today, but in what we may someday become. With faith and resolution we declare that Jesus is the Redeemer and the Savior of the World. In Him and through Him we become refined and perfected. He is the Light and Life of our world.
